Children´s choir Rolnicka Praha (means Jingle Bell in english) was founded by director Karel Virgler in 1978. Now the choir has 200 children and youth from 5 up to 19 years.

Rolnicka makes every year big concerts in Prague Rudolfinum and other halls and churches, national and international concert tours, where they earn very good reputation. They cooperate also with film, TV and diverse cultural and humanitary organizations.

Rolnicka also invites choirs and orchestras from abroad to Prague for joint performances.

Rolnicka is a member of The Czech Choirs Association (www.ucps.cz).and cooperates with worldwide choir association - International Society for Childrenīs Choral and Performing Arts, USA.

The Choral Study Rolnicka consists of touring children´s and youth choir and 4 levels of preparing choirs.       Piano and organ accompanying by Ondrej Konopa and Jakub Mikeš, manager is Hana Virglerová.

Rolnicka Praha sings classical and contemporary Czech and Europe choral music, both sacred and secular, and Czech and foreign folk songs. They like to sing also wellknown popular melodies.
 

 

The goal of the concert tours is to bring our audience delight through music and to present to the audiences the finest of the Czech choral art form.   Through their concerts, the choir and conductor wish to share their cultural traditions and promote international friendship and understanding.

Favourite songs - to their 25 th anniversary Rolnicka recorded their best-loved songs from early music, folk music and contemporary music.
